Last Man Standing is just one of those sitcoms that captures the public's interest whether it be for its controversy or just because it stands above the rest as comedy gold in a sea for unmemorable series. It shouldn't be too much of a surprise knowing that a show with the main protagonist being Tim Allen would draw a crowd.

Molly Ephraim Is Jewish
Molly Ephraim is best known for her role as the daughter of Mike Baxter on the sitcom Last Man Standing. She has had a memorable career even though she has barely just hit her early thirties. Molly was born and raised in Pennsylvania to a Jewish American family.
Even at a young age, she showed promise and a willingness to seek out and achieve whatever it took to fulfill her goals in life. Her identity as a Jewish American has given her the knowledge and ability to play Jewish characters in Broadway productions.
Performed In Shows As A Child
Child actors that transition into more adult roles are usually few and far between. Whether this is because they have been typecast as a certain age or their star just burned out too quickly.
These are only a few reasons child actors do not have a good track record in Hollywood. However, Molly Ephraim never let her career stop her from academic success. After high school, she was given the opportunity to attend Princeton University where she gained a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies.
Made Her Broadway Day View At 15
For most teenagers juggling work and school can be a task few are actually prepared to undertake. At such an age it usually means more to attend parties than it is to partake in extracurricular activities.
Though, that wasn't necessarily the case for Molly Ephraim who worked tirelessly to fulfill her dream to be an actress. In 2002, at the age of 15, Ephraim found her first big break as she was cast as Little Red Riding Hood in the Broadway production Into The Woods. The production turned out to be a hit, catapulting her towards future fame.
First Television Appearance on Law & Order
Whatever Dick Wolf touches it turns to gold. His legal shows have captivated scores of fans for over three decades. Since the early '80s there hasn't been a year that goes by without one of his shows appearing on NBC's prime-time lineup.
After a successful Broadway career, Molly Ephraim decided she would try her hand in television productions where she was first castin Law & Order's 10th episode of its 18th season titled "Tango" as the one-time guest character Anne-Marie Liscomb. It was Epraim's first aired television appearance but wouldn't be her last.

Ephraim Played Anne Frank
Anne Frank is probably one of the more notable 15-year-old girls in the history of the world. A Jewish German immigrant living in Amsterdam, Netherlands during the Nazi occupation of the city. She recorded her family's struggles as they hid from the Nazi's until their eventual capture.
Sadly, Anne Frank and most of her family did not survive their time in the Auschwitz and Bergen-Belsen concentration camps where Anne and her sister died of Typhus. In the Broadway play The Diary of Anne Frank, Molly Ephraim had the honor of playing the title character.

Sadly, it is the nature of the TV and movie industry that just because a show is green lit for production doesn't necessarily mean that it will make it onaudience's televisions.

Many of these pilots are canceled because of financial reasons beyond the actors and actresses' control. Hench at Home was a TV series written by Michael J. Fox. The premise involved a legendary hockey player who after retiring learns what it feels like to be a stay-at-home dad. This was technically going to be Molly Ephraim's first TV series, but it never made it to air.

Tim Allen is one of the few actors who have come 0ut in favor of conservative ideas and has used his character of Mike Baxter on Last Man Standing to further his message to a larger audience. However, unlike her TV dad, Ephraim is a noted liberal who strongly pushes for more LGBTQ rights.
