My dearest cousin Frank: I am having the most difficult time trying to process the fact that you are not with us any longer. After reading our cousin Mark’s response, in my mind’s eyes, I was overcome with nostalgia as I reflected on my days as a child on Katy Hill Road. There we all grew up under the direction of the older people in our neighborhood, ultimately our grandparents. We played together, sang together, grew up together and were taught about the foundation of Christianity by our elders; they themselves set a great example for us. There will definitely be a void in our lives as we reflect on our own impermanence. May your children eventually find comfort and strength as they reflect on your life and the good times you all shared together as a beautiful family. Much love.

My brother has gone own to his heavenly home. He is truly missed and visiting Columbia will never be the same without him there. We have been there for each other from the beginning to the end! We grew up together under the tutelage of our most wonderful great grandparents and grandparents, Henry and Sarah Ann Gibbs. With supportive aunts, uncles. cousins, friends. and neighbors, we excelled academically, socially, and spiritually. We were each other best man in our weddings, along with endless other memories and activities. So long for now my brother, but we know most all, this is not how the story ends, but we will spend eternity together praising and worshipping our Lord Savior Jesus Christ forevermore! With much love and honor to you, your brother, Mark

Dearest Denton and Deanna. I pray God’s comfort and peace upon you and your family. Losing a parent is not an easy thing, but knowing that Frank loved the Lord can give you great peace! I loved both Frank and Van dearly, even before they were married and remember times of laughter and love.

When a person shows you who they are the first time, believe them. Dickerson was a dear compassionate friend.
